Direction To Use
Step 1 – Inspect the Articulator Before use, check the articulator for smooth hinge movement and ensure all adjustable components are functioning correctly. Clean the upper and lower arms if needed.
Step 2 – Prepare the Dental Models Pour and set the upper and lower dental cast models using appropriate dental stone or plaster. Allow the models to fully set and dry before mounting.
Step 3 – Set the Vertical Dimension Adjust the vertical height of the articulator using the adjustment screw to match the patient's occlusal vertical dimension. Lock the setting in place securely.
Step 4 – Mount the Lower Model Apply a thin mix of mounting plaster or dental stone to the base of the lower cast. Place it onto the lower arm of the articulator and allow it to set in the correct centric occlusion position.
Step 5 – Mount the Upper Model Close the articulator to bring both models into occlusion. Apply mounting plaster to the upper cast and secure it to the upper arm of the articulator. Hold firmly until the plaster sets.
Step 6 – Check Occlusal Alignment Once both models are mounted and set, open and close the articulator to simulate jaw movements. Verify proper occlusal contact and alignment between the upper and lower casts.
Step 7 – Proceed with Dental Work Use the mounted models to fabricate crowns, bridges, dentures, or orthodontic appliances with accurate occlusal relationships.
Step 8 – Cleaning & Maintenance After use, remove any plaster or debris from the articulator arms and hinge mechanism. Wipe clean with a dry cloth and store in a dry place to prevent corrosion and maintain longevity.
⚠️ Note: For professional dental laboratory use only. Handle with care to maintain calibration accuracy. Do not expose to excessive moisture or chemical solvents
