Direction To Use
Step 1 – Inspect Before Use Before placing instruments, inspect the tray for any chips, cracks, or damage to the enamel coating. Do not use the tray if the enamel is severely chipped, as exposed metal may harbour bacteria.
Step 2 – Pre-Clean the Tray Wash the tray with mild soap or detergent and warm water before first use. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean cloth.
Step 3 – Arrange Instruments Place all required dental instruments neatly on the tray in the sequence of use — from left to right or as per your clinic's protocol. This ensures a smooth and organised workflow during patient procedures.
Step 4 – Use During Procedure Place the tray on the dental unit side table or instrument trolley within easy reach. Use it to hold and access instruments, cotton rolls, gauze, and other materials during clinical procedures.
Step 5 – Post-Procedure Instrument Collection After the procedure, collect all used instruments back onto the tray for safe transport to the sterilization area. Do not mix used and sterile instruments on the same tray.
Step 6 – Cleaning After Use Rinse the tray under running water to remove debris. Scrub with a brush using mild detergent or enzymatic cleaner. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry or wipe with a clean dry cloth.
Step 7 – Disinfection Wipe the tray surface with an approved surface disinfectant or immerse in a disinfectant solution as per your clinic's infection control protocol. Allow adequate contact time before rinsing.
Step 8 – Sterilization (If Required) The enamel tray can be sterilized using a hot air oven or autoclave as per standard dental clinic sterilization procedures. Ensure the tray is completely dry before placing in the sterilizer.
Step 9 – Storage Stack trays carefully to avoid chipping the enamel coating. Store in a clean, dry, dust-free area when not in use.
