Got Any Doubts?

What is Cavex Cream Alginate used for?

Used for orthodontic study model impressions, complete and partial denture impressions, bleaching tray fabrication, sports mouthguard impressions, and any clinical situation requiring an accurate alginate impression.

What does the colour change mean?

The chromatic system guides mixing and setting: Pink = mixing phase, Cream = working phase (load tray and seat), White = fully set and ready to remove. Eliminates guesswork.

What is the mixing ratio?

8g powder to 20ml water at 23°C for standard mixing ratio. Use the provided measuring tools for accuracy.

How long before pouring the impression?

Pour in dental stone immediately or within 15 minutes of taking the impression. Alginate is dimensionally unstable over time — do not store in wet tissue for extended periods.

Is it compatible with all dental stones?

Compatible with Type III and Type IV dental stones. Rinse impression with cold water before pouring to improve stone surface quality.
