Direction To Use
How to Use ASIO Latex Powdered Examination Gloves — Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1 – Select the Correct Size Choose the appropriate glove size — Extra Small, Small, Medium, or Large — based on hand measurements to ensure a snug, comfortable fit that allows full dexterity and tactile sensitivity during clinical procedures.
Step 2 – Inspect Before Use Before donning, visually inspect each glove for any visible tears, holes, punctures, or defects. Do not use a damaged glove — discard and replace immediately.
Step 3 – Wash & Dry Hands Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser. Ensure hands are completely dry before putting on the gloves — wet hands make donning more difficult and may compromise the glove's fit.
Step 4 – Don the Gloves Pick up the glove by the rolled rim cuff and slide your hand in, using the powder lining to ease donning. The ambidextrous design means either glove fits either hand — simply select one glove and put it on, then repeat with the second hand.
Step 5 – Adjust for Comfort Once both gloves are on, adjust the fit by gently pulling at the cuff and smoothing out any folds or creases across the palm and fingers. Ensure the glove fits snugly without restricting blood circulation or finger movement.
Step 6 – Perform the Procedure Carry out your dental examination, clinical procedure, or diagnostic assessment. The finger-textured surface provides excellent grip and tactile feedback, and the natural rubber latex material conforms to hand movements for a comfortable, natural feel throughout the procedure.
Step 7 – Remove Gloves Safely After the procedure, remove gloves using the safe doffing technique — pinch the outside of one glove at the wrist without touching bare skin and peel it off, turning it inside out. Hold the removed glove in the gloved hand, then slide fingers under the cuff of the second glove and peel it off over the first, containing both gloves together.
Step 8 – Discard & Wash Hands Dispose of used gloves in an appropriate clinical waste bin in accordance with your clinic's infection control and bio-waste disposal protocols. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water immediately after glove removal
