Direction To Use

How to Use ASIO Latex Powdered Examination Gloves — Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1 – Select the Correct Size Choose the appropriate glove size — Extra Small, Small, Medium, or Large — based on hand measurements to ensure a snug, comfortable fit that allows full dexterity and tactile sensitivity during clinical procedures.

Step 2 – Inspect Before Use Before donning, visually inspect each glove for any visible tears, holes, punctures, or defects. Do not use a damaged glove — discard and replace immediately.

Step 3 – Wash & Dry Hands Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser. Ensure hands are completely dry before putting on the gloves — wet hands make donning more difficult and may compromise the glove's fit.

Step 4 – Don the Gloves Pick up the glove by the rolled rim cuff and slide your hand in, using the powder lining to ease donning. The ambidextrous design means either glove fits either hand — simply select one glove and put it on, then repeat with the second hand.

Step 5 – Adjust for Comfort Once both gloves are on, adjust the fit by gently pulling at the cuff and smoothing out any folds or creases across the palm and fingers. Ensure the glove fits snugly without restricting blood circulation or finger movement.

Step 6 – Perform the Procedure Carry out your dental examination, clinical procedure, or diagnostic assessment. The finger-textured surface provides excellent grip and tactile feedback, and the natural rubber latex material conforms to hand movements for a comfortable, natural feel throughout the procedure.

Step 7 – Remove Gloves Safely After the procedure, remove gloves using the safe doffing technique — pinch the outside of one glove at the wrist without touching bare skin and peel it off, turning it inside out. Hold the removed glove in the gloved hand, then slide fingers under the cuff of the second glove and peel it off over the first, containing both gloves together.

Step 8 – Discard & Wash Hands Dispose of used gloves in an appropriate clinical waste bin in accordance with your clinic's infection control and bio-waste disposal protocols. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water immediately after glove removal

Got Any Doubts?

What are ASIO Latex Powdered Examination Gloves used for?

ASIO Latex Powdered Examination Gloves are designed for professional medical and dental examination procedures. They provide reliable barrier protection during routine dental check-ups, patient consultations, clinical examinations, diagnostic assessments, and general infection control procedures in dental clinics, hospitals, laboratories, and healthcare institutions. The finger-textured surface ensures excellent grip and tactile sensitivity, making them ideal for precise chairside and clinical work.

Are ASIO Latex Examination Gloves safe for use in dental clinics?

Yes, ASIO Latex Powdered Examination Gloves are fully safe and suitable for use in dental clinics and other healthcare settings. They are manufactured to IS 15354:2023 Part 1 BIS certification standards and tested at AQL 1.5 — the highest quality benchmark for medical examination gloves — ensuring consistent barrier integrity, uniform thickness, and reliable protection with every glove. They are trusted by dental professionals and healthcare workers across India for daily clinical use.

What sizes are available and how do I choose the right size?

ASIO Latex Powdered Examination Gloves are available in four sizes — Extra Small (XS), Small (S), Medium (M), and Large (L) — to suit all hand sizes and ensure a comfortable, secure fit. To choose the right size, measure the circumference of your dominant hand around the knuckles (excluding the thumb). A well-fitting glove should feel snug without restricting finger movement or blood circulation. A glove that is too loose can reduce tactile sensitivity, while one that is too tight can cause hand fatigue during extended procedures.

Do these gloves contain latex — can they cause allergic reactions?

Yes, ASIO Latex Powdered Examination Gloves are made from high-quality natural rubber latex. Natural rubber latex contains proteins that may trigger Type I latex hypersensitivity reactions in individuals who are latex-sensitive or latex-allergic. Symptoms may include skin irritation, redness, itching, or in severe cases, anaphylaxis. If you or your patient has a known latex allergy, we recommend switching to a latex-free nitrile examination glove alternative. Always screen patients and clinical staff for latex sensitivity before use.

How are ASIO Latex Powdered Examination Gloves packaged and what pack sizes are available?

ASIO Latex Powdered Examination Gloves are available in three convenient pack sizes to suit different clinical and procurement needs — 30 gloves per pack, 70 gloves per pack, and 100 gloves per pack (the 30 and 70 glove packs are available for Medium size). All packs are securely sealed in hygienic packaging to prevent contamination and preserve glove quality throughout transit and storage. For bulk institutional orders, shipper packs contain 30 packs per shipper for 100's and 70's packs, and 74 packs per shipper for 30's packs. The gloves have a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture when stored correctly in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
