Got Any Doubts?

What is this Type I GIC used for?

This material is a luting cement used for seating restorations. It is self-adhesive to tooth structure and provides good bond strength to both enamel and dentin.

What is the material's composition?

The powder consists of Fluoro Alumina Silicate Glass, and the liquid is a thin viscosity Polyacrylic Acid. The recommended powder to liquid ratio for mixing is 1:2.

What are the recommended mixing and setting times?

The mixing time is 45-60 seconds, and the setting time is 2 minutes and 30 seconds at room temperature (23°C). Final finishing can begin 5 minutes after seating the restoration.

What are the key clinical properties of this cement?

The cement features a low film thickness, high fluoride release, and high compressive strength. It is also radiopaque for easy identification on x-rays and provides excellent marginal integrity.

What are the storage requirements and shelf life?

Store the material between 10°C and 24°C in a cool, dry place, keeping it away from moisture with the cap closed. The shelf life is 3 years from the date of manufacturing.
