Step 1 — Clean the patient’s teeth to remove plaque and debris before fluoride application.
Step 2 — Select a suitable fluoride tray that fits the patient comfortably.
Step 3 — Dispense an appropriate amount of Fluorotop APF gel into the fluoride tray.
Step 4 — Place the tray into the patient’s mouth ensuring proper coverage of all teeth.
Step 5 — Allow the gel to remain in contact with the teeth for the recommended treatment time.
Step 6 — Ask the patient to spit out excess gel after the treatment.
Step 7 — Instruct the patient not to rinse, eat, or drink for a short period after treatment.
Step 8 — Clean the trays and instruments according to clinical sterilization protocols
