Got Any Doubts?

What does Smart Prep Liquid do?

Chelates calcium from dentin removing the inorganic smear layer, opens dentinal tubules, and improves sealer adhesion for better quality obturation.

When to use in irrigation sequence?

After final NaOCl flush at end of shaping. Leave 1 minute, then flush with NaOCl again before drying.

Can EDTA and NaOCl be mixed?

Not simultaneously — reduces free chlorine. Use sequentially: NaOCl during shaping → EDTA (1 min) → Final NaOCl flush.

Suitable for calcified canals?

Yes — softens calcified dentin to facilitate instrumentation in sclerotic canals.

How much per canal?

1–2ml per canal. 1 minute contact time minimum for effective smear layer removal.
