Preparation:

• Ensure the Fi-P Obturation Pen is fully charged and tips are sterilized before use
• Select the appropriate tip size (4%, 6%, 8%, 10%, or 12%) based on the clinical requirement

Attachment:

• Attach the chosen tip securely to the Fi-P Obturation Pen, ensuring it is properly fitted

Heating:

• Turn on the pen and allow it to reach the pre-set temperature. The device heats almost instantaneously within 0.2 seconds
• Use the visual and auditory indicators on the pen to confirm that it has reached the desired temperature

Application:

• Gently insert the heated tip into the gutta-percha within the root canal
• Use the pen to soften, diffuse, and pressurize the gutta-percha, ensuring it fills the canal and lateral branches accurately

Cutting:

• Once the gutta-percha is properly positioned, use the pen to smoothly cut and shape the material as needed

Post-Use:

• Turn off the pen and detach the tip
• Clean and sterilize the tip after each use
• Store the pen and tips in a clean, dry place

Safety:

• Follow the automatic shut-off feature if the pen is inactive for more than 10 seconds
• Regularly check the battery level and ensure it is within optimal operating conditions
