Preparation:

Patient Preparation:

• Inform the patient about the procedure and obtain consent.
• Confirm absence of contraindications such as pacemakers or metal allergies.
• Administer appropriate anesthesia.

Device Setup:

• Turn on the apex locator and allow initialization.
• Adjust screen brightness as needed.

Apical Positioning:

• Select suitable file size for treatment.
• Gently insert the file into the root canal until reaching the apical constriction.
• Attach the file clip and secure with the lip hook.

Measurement Procedure:

• Observe real-time display on the LCD screen.
• Listen for sound changes indicating file position.

Reading and Recording:

• Note measurement once apex reached.
• Carefully remove file and record working length.

Post-Procedure:

• Clean and disinfect accessories.
• Turn off device and store safely.

Assembly:

• Attach the 6:1 mini contra-angle to the handpiece securely.

Power On:

• Select the desired working mode (Forward, Reverse, Reciprocating, ATR) using the mode selector.

Speed and Torque Settings:

• Adjust the speed between 100r/min to 1500r/min as required for the procedure.
• Set the torque between 0.4N·cm to 4.2N·cm according to the specific needs of the preparation.

Reciprocating Angle Adjustment:

• Use the adjustment control to set the reciprocating angle within the range of 20° to 400°.
• Adjust in 10° intervals for precise control.
• Operation:
• Position the handpiece at the desired tooth location.
• Use the well-balanced design and 360° rotatable contra-angle for better maneuverability and accessibility.
• Apply gentle pressure and allow the high torque motor to perform the cutting.

Safety:

• Monitor the torque and speed settings to ensure they remain within safe limits.
• In ATR mode, the file will reciprocate at the set angle after reaching the preset torque, reducing the risk of instrument separation.

Post-Procedure:

• Turn off the handpiece and detach the contra-angle.
• Clean and sterilize the handpiece and contra-angle according to the manufacturer's guidelines.

Storage:

• Store the handpiece in a clean, dry place.
• Ensure the handpiece is fully charged before storing to maintain battery health.
